The purpose of the gathering is to encourage emerging and seasoned American Indian leaders to share their skills, knowledge and experience as we lead our community into the 21st Century.
You will:
- Experience inter-generational learning by connecting with seasoned leaders from within the community.
- Engage in interactive discussions with other community leaders.
Just around the corner! Expose yourself to new ideas, current initiatives in health philanthropy, and knowledgeable colleagues and experts, and take what you learn to inform, re-energize, and inspire your organization and the work you do.
The 2009 18th Annual Him-Dak Celebration was held this year on April 4th, 2009.
This year's theme was "Ak-Chin's Way of Life - Transformation from Past to Present"
