Call for nominations for the Windcall Award to Social Justice Leaders 2009-2010. Are you a grassroots organizer or social justice leader? Thank you for all you do in these hard and exciting times!
Organizers work hard in all dimensions of strategy, community building, organizational leadership and movement building, but we often skimp on the time needed to keep ourselves creative, healthy and energized. Have you taken a rest lately? Do you know any burned out colleagues? Do you need to
renew your energy in the face of economic and political turmoil? Apply Now for the Windcall Residency Award, or nominate a colleague. Deadlines Feb 20th* and April 30th 2009.
Windcall Residents spend 2-3 weeks in beautiful natural settings with a small group of social justice leaders who share a open time and space for reflection, artistic exploration and transformative learning to tap your creative juices and bring renewed energy to the work. Windcall is accepting applications and nominations for the 2009-2010 residencies,(sites in Washington, Vermont, Montana or California). WindcallInstitute

* This Friday's Feb 20th deadline is only for people interested in attending the May 3-21st session in the Olympic Peninsula, Washington State.
This site is appropriate only for residents who can appreciate isolation in a beautiful wooded setting. it is not accessible and residents must be physically able to navigate steep terrain and/or enjoy time indoors creating.
