Artist Bio: My name is Scarlet Thompson. I am 10 years old and I homeschool. My passion is art and dancing. I also love cats and playing outside.
Artist Statement: My drawing is of my brother Azrael and myself. My brother was born with half a heart and has had two open heart surgeries. Azrael is only 21 months old. My mom stays home with us and she gets so tired sometimes. I think being a good relative is helping the ones you love without being asked. I try to play and spend time with my brother so my mom can have a break sometimes. I love Azrael and I’m so thankful that he is alive.
