Artist Bio: My name is Shaelyn Baxley. I am a student at Long Branch Elementary School. I enjoy drawing, painting, studying history and science, bowling, and going to the beach with my family. I also enjoying playing with my baby cousin who is more like a baby brother to me and I love animals!
Artist Statement: My art piece basically demonstrates the coronavirus attacking the world we’re living in and me as my mom’s daughter just protecting her by all means because she needed a new mask. That being said I gave her a new one to protect her from the germs and coronavirus in the atmosphere.
