Native Americans in Philanthropy, Newman’s Own Foundation, and Novo Nordisk are thrilled to announce the recipients of the 2025 Indigenous Tomorrows Fund grants.
The Indigenous Tomorrows Fund is a first of its kind participatory grantmaking initiative that places decision-making power in youth leaders (ages 14-24). Youth are mentored by experienced grantmakers and Elders, invited to sit on the Fund’s advisory committee where they established funding priorities, evaluated proposals, made final funding decisions, and supported day-to-day operations.
The Indigenous Tomorrows Fund provides a vision and working model for how philanthropy can honor Indigenous wisdom, strengthen the self-determination of Native communities, and support emerging leaders and their vision for a thriving future.
In its pilot year, the Indigenous Tomorrows Fund is supporting projects that uplift young people and build pathways toward community well-being, cultural continuity, and self-determined futures. Selected efforts will each receive a $30,000 grant, and include initiatives that promote food justice and access to nourishing foods for children, advance community health and wellness, and deepen connections between food, culture, and healing across generations.
We’re proud to support these organizations whose work reflects the priorities and values of their communities. Each project represents a meaningful step toward stronger, healthier, and more self-determined futures grounded in Indigenous values.
