How do Family Resource Centers support the strengthening of Native American communities?

There are numerous Family Resource Centers (FRCs) across the U.S. that have been developed by both urban and rural Native communities. These FRCs support their communities through culturally-relevant programs, supports, and opportunities that honor and reflect their values and traditions. This session will feature the school-based Indian Community School FRC in Wisconsin and the community-based Neighborhood Place of Wailuku that works with the Native Hawaiian population in Happy Valley, Maui.  It will include facilitated discussions for Native Americans in Philanthropy Members and Tribal Child Welfare Leaders to explore opportunities for FRCs in their communities.  For more information and to register, please click here.
