Our Tribal Nations Initiative supports Tribal Nations by creating more opportunities for awareness, connection, and collaboration with each other and with the philanthropy sector. While Tribes are not new to the practice of giving and helping their neighbors, Tribal philanthropy is a growing segment to support Native American communities.
Native Voices Rising (NVR) is a research, donor education, re-granting, and capacity-building collaborative created and led by Common Counsel Foundation and Native Americans in Philanthropy. NVR is designed to support organizing, advocacy, and civic engagement in American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian communities.
Native Youth Grantmakers is designed for Indigenous youth aged 18-24 who are connected to their community (urban, rural, or reservation) who and want to grow their leadership skills, advocate for Native youth and youth programs, and learn more about engaging with the philanthropic sector to benefit their communities.
