In-School Art For Earth Workshop Expansion & Curriculum Guide
About This Grant
4 Conservation Charitable Foundation (4CCF) is dedicated to cultivating ecological responsibility, community agency, and cultural continuity through an integrated approach to regional history and environmental stewardship. Grounded in over 35 years of teaching artistry and collaborative curriculum design, 4CCF brings innovative, multi-sensory education directly into classrooms. Our programming blends somatic practices, scientific inquiry, and creative arts—such as watercolor, sketching, and stenciling—to transform how youth engage with local ecosystems.
4CCF approaches regional history, environmental stewardship, and youth education not as separate silos, but as interconnected roots feeding the same tree. Our In-School Art For Earth initiative is an integrated workshop series and curriculum that weaves hands-on artistic expression with deep ecological literacy. By bringing this program into local classrooms, we plant the seeds for lifelong environmental advocacy and historical truth-telling. Within the ecosystem of the Indigenous Tomorrows Fund, our work firmly occupies the intersection of two vital growth bundles: Indigenous Lands & Waters and Cultural & Spiritual Infrastructure.
A foundational pillar of 4CCF is our commitment to promoting an inclusive, true regional history that centers the enduring connection between local tribal nations and our shared lands and waters. Governed by a leadership team that proudly includes three tribal board members, 4CCF ensures that all historical narratives and Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) are held with deep accountability, community integrity, and cultural safety. By equipping young people with both historical truth and creative outlets, we empower the next generation to step forward as informed, self-determined caretakers of our earth.
