The Annual Giving manager is responsible for the execution and management of a comprehensive annual giving program, including an annual solicitation schedule (direct mail solicitations and digital solicitations), UW Giving Day, crowdfunding campaigns, and annual giving stewardship strategies.
The Annual Giving manager will oversee the Annual Giving coordinator and interns. This position reports to the director. This position does not often make direct solicitations themselves, but they should feel comfortable doing so in case the need arises.
The Annual Giving manager will work to build an exceptional donor experience by helping to create and then implement the annual giving strategy. This position will cultivate successful relationships with a wide range of donors and campus partners. They will identify innovative giving trends in philanthropy and implement these into current strategies.
