About us: Heyday was founded in 1974 in Berkeley, California. You have a proven ability to approach people of capacity and inspire them to donate (five figures and above); you have experience independently securing major donors. You are organized and orient your efforts toward maximum effectiveness. You are a persuasive ambassador, and you have a personal stake in our mission and community—passion for the published word is a must. You are attracted to the friendly, passionate, and purpose-driven atmosphere of a scrappy nonprofit.
