Taos Community Foundaon (TCF) is a successful, growing foundaon in Taos, New Mexico. Since 1994, we have granted more than $20 million dollars to nonprofit organizaons throughout our service area and currently grant more than $2.5 million annually. We are seeking a dynamic individual who will lead the foundaon into its next phase.
TCF secures permanent and growing assets for the area’s changing needs, serving as the perpetual community endowment, funding projects, programs and scholarships that benefit educaon, the arts, and human needs in the greater Taos area. TCF provides donors a wide variety of tax-deducble opons to parcipate in the development of our community.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Chief Execuve Officer’s primary responsibilies are fundraising, promong philanthropy, and expanding the visibility and viability of the Taos Community Foundaon. The CEO has overall responsibility for management and oversight of TCF’s day-to-day operaons.
QUALIFICATIONS
Visionary; sound judgment; personal integrity; ability to understand complex issues and challenges; creave problem solver; crical thinker; broad community and nonprofit knowledge; experience working with boards, volunteers, commiees, and donors Demonstrated experience in long range planning, visioning, and policy development 5+ years of nonprofit management and leadership experience
Master’s degree in a related field preferred Taos County resident or willing to become one
COMPENSATION
Compensaon dependent on skills and experience, to include salary and a complete benefit package.
