Give In May

Description

Held during AANHPI Heritage Month, Give In May is a nationwide fundraising campaign that runs from May 1-31. The campaign brings together nonprofits, supporters and community partners to amplify awareness, expand donor networks and encourage collective giving.

Give In May 2026 is hosted by AAPI Data and Bolder Futures, with support from Asian Pacific Community Fund (APCF), Korean American Community Foundation (KACF), Asian Americans/Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy (AAPIP), Asian Pacific Fund, and The Asian American Foundation (TAAF).

How It Works:

  • Each participating organization will set up a personalized fundraising page on GiveInMay.org.
  • Supporters can donate directly to the nonprofit of their choice.
  • 100% of funds raised go directly to your organization, minus credit card processing fees.

Prizes:

  • Give In May Awards will be distributed to organizations that raise the most funds or engage the highest number of unique donors. Prizes will be awarded in each category as follows: $5000 for 1st place, $2500 for 2nd place, and $1000 for 3rd place.
    • An organization may receive only one main campaign prize and is not eligible to win in multiple categories. If an organization places in more than one category, it will be awarded the higher-value prize, and the other award will be reassigned to the next eligible organization.
  • New for 2026: Additional Sprint Prizes will be awarded throughout the month! Each week during Give In May, organizations can also compete in a Sprint Race, with weekly prizes awarded in both categories: $500 for 1st place, $250 for 2nd place, and $100 for 3rd place.
    • Organizations may win a maximum of one Sprint prize per week and up to two Sprint prizes total during the month. Organizations may receive Sprint prizes in addition to one main campaign prize, but may not win multiple main prizes.
