About This Grant

We’re excited to kick off this year’s grant making cycle for The Conservation Alliance’s Confluence Program, an initiative designed to support effective conservation programs and campaigns led by Asian, Black, Brown, Hispanic, Indigenous, Latin American, and additional communities who identify as People of Color. New This Year We’re starting the 2025 cycle with a Request for Inquiries. This initial step involves having interested organizations complete a brief form. This helps us better understand an organization’s work and interest before inviting their full proposals. If your organization meets the eligibility criteria, we encourage you to submit an inquiry below. We also encourage you to please pass on the form to any organizations that you think may be interested. Timeline: Inquiry Form Opens: July 23 Inquiry Form Closes: August 15 Selected Organizations Invited to Submit Full Proposals: August 28 Full Proposals Due: September 19 Finalist Interviews: Late October to Early November Final Decisions Announced: January 2026 This year, The Conservation Alliance will award three to six Confluence Program grants of up to $100,000 over two years (up to $50,000 per year). Grants support efforts to protect, restore, or conserve land and water in ways that foster a planet where natural places, wildlife, and people thrive together. This program is one step in our broader effort to make conservation funding more equitable and to build lasting partnerships with historically underrepresented groups in this work. If your organization meets the eligibility criteria listed on our website, we encourage you to submit an inquiry. Submit Your Inquiry If you want to learn more or have questions, register for our information session on August 4th at 12pm PT / 3pm ET. Please help us share this opportunity with your networks. If you have any questions, contact me at kim@conservationalliance.com. Thank you for your continued work to protect the places we all care about.
