Dawn Knickerbocker Joins Native Americans in Philanthropy Staff

Please join Native Americans in Philanthropy as they welcome Dawn Knickerbocker (Anishinaabe, White Earth Nation) to their team.

As our new Project Assistant, Dawn has just the right values, talent, and passion to support our important work for our communities,” says Erik Stegman, Executive Director. “She leads with her heart and brings many important new perspectives to what we do.

Dawn is joining the team at a critical time of growth and activity at Native Americans in Philanthropy. She will use her skillset supporting the executive leadership and will establish strong internal processes and systems for the organization. Dawn is excited to be the first point of contact for external engagement and will use her skills as a communicator to engage members as NAP continues to grow. Dawn brings her experience in philanthropy and in supporting Native communities. She holds a B.A. in organizational management and completed graduate work in social impact and human rights practice.

Native Americans in Philanthropy is proud to expand its team, which will increase its capacity to engage Native-led organizations and increase their funding, support Native professionals in philanthropy, and further influence the philanthropic sector to be in alignment with an Indigenous worldview.
