About This Grant

On 14 December 2025, 70-Native American high school senior football players will participate in the 2025 Native All-American Football Game in Minneapolis, Minnesota at the U.S. Bank Stadium. The event is being produced by the Native American Athletic Foundation (NAAF) in partnership with the Minnesota Vikings and the National Football League (NFL).

The Native All-American Football Game will not just be a football game between the country's best Native American football players but will also include a program that spans across several days which will help players experience: elite coaching, college preparation, leadership development, life-skills training, and mental wellness tools. We aim to have these experiences create a solid foundation for these young football players to excel on and off the field.

Furthermore, the program will also include an opportunity for young female athletes to participate in the Native Female Flag Football Clinic on 13 December 2025. The flag football game is opened to Native girls in grades 6-12, the clinic will also include: skill development, leadership sessions, and mentorship from collegiate coaches, former NFL players, and community leaders. Our goal for this clinic is to further demonstrate the NAAF's commitment to expand the opportunities for Native girls in sports while also promoting health, confidence, and leadership.
