Health & Safety Policy

At Native Americans in Philanthropy, we treasure the opportunity to gather and be with community at our events.

The health and safety of those who gather with us are of the utmost importance.

The health and safety guidelines of a Native Americans in Philanthropy gathering will follow the best practices, protocols, and/or legal mandates set forth by the venue, county, state, and federal agencies/organizations at the time of the event.

To ensure that all attendees have the necessary information to assess and manage their own personal risk when attending an in-person event, we will communicate any changes via email.

The current health and safety protocols for NAP gatherings are as follows and are subject to change:

  • Masks are welcome at NAP gatherings but are not required. We encourage all attendees to do what feels best for them and to respect others’ choices.
  • We encourage you to take the necessary steps to ensure your own wellness and health and to be considerate of all attendees.
  • If you feel unwell or test positive for an illness before or during a NAP gathering, we advise that you take the necessary safety precautions to protect yourself and others.
  • If attending a NAP conference and you test positive for COVID, we advise that you isolate in your hotel room and wear a mask in public spaces. You may stay in your hotel room but are responsible for your own meals and any hotel charges extending beyond the conference.

Please ensure that before purchasing or registering, you and/or your institution understand any and all refund policies for the NAP gathering you'd like to attend.
