If so, you might be the perfect candidate for the Area Development Advisor position at ALSAC, the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. As an Area Development Advisor, you will be responsible for expanding our volunteer and donor network, increasing awareness, and maximizing funds for St. Jude. You will also play a crucial role in developing and growing high-value Peer to Peer (P2P) events, such as St. Jude Heroes, Radio-thons, Rock ‘n’ Roll, and St. Jude Walk/Runs. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals who share your vision and values. To be successful in this role, you will need to have: Clear and effective communication skills for internal and external relations. Ability to comprehend complex instructions and execute them efficiently. Strong interpersonal and public speaking abilities to engage diverse audiences. Demonstrated negotiation and listening skills to build trust and rapport. Donor and customer-focused mindset with excellent writing, telephone, and organizational skills. Proven ability to influence and inspire others to support our mission. Bachelor's degree preferred or over 5 years of relevant experience in fundraising, sales, or marketing. Commitment to positive team dynamic and flexibility in working hours. Poise and executive presence for quick thinking on camera during news interviews. Solid organizational and project management skills with consistent follow-up to build and maintain donor relationships and meet deadlines. Candidate should also expect travel, including nights and weekends. Proficiency in both Spanish and English languages is desirable, as it enables effective communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders and donors. Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for this role.
