SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER, GRATEFUL PATIENT FAMILY (GPF) DATA
Main focus: Support successful Grateful Patient Family fundraising efforts by managing the daily flow of GPF data and convening fundraising strategy leads to support their efforts through data deliverables, enhancements, and reporting.
Location: Local candidates are strongly preferred, and fully remote candidates will be considered with a preference to those in the Pacific time zone. Please note, if a remote candidate is selected for the position, compensation will be adjusted for their geographic location.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
In your role as the Senior Program Manager for Grateful Patient Family (GPF) Data, your primary responsibility is to be the central figure in GPF fundraising. This means overseeing GPF data, improving data and reports, guiding the correct use of GPF data, and managing the relationship with Stanford Medicine Children’s Health. You'll collaborate with fundraising leaders, Prospect Development, Data & Reporting, and field officers and leadership to ensure successful fundraising efforts. Your duties include handling daily GPF systems and reporting including developing prospect lists, making data and reporting enhancements, teaching others how to use GPF data correctly, and maintaining the privacy of patient data. Your goal is to foster successful fundraising strategies, facilitate data integration, and provide the necessary support for various teams to achieve their objectives while following consistent data standards.
Compensation range is $85,000 - $95,000 annually
YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR…
Managing GPF Data: You will oversee the everyday operations of GPF data systems and reports.
Improving Data and Reports: You'll make GPF data and report improvements to help us measure and report on fundraising strategy outcomes.
Helping Others Understand Data and its Use: You'll help everyone in the organization use GPF data correctly, by creating documentation and training to make sure they understand how to use GPF data from our CRM, standard reports, and Power BI dashboards.
Coordinating with Stanford Medicine Children’s Health: You'll keep a good relationship with Stanford Medicine Children’s Health and become an expert on the data they provide us.
Supporting Fundraising Strategies: You will convene the people who plan our fundraising strategies to coordinate efforts across teams and help them be successful.
Identifying Potential Donors: As a part of the Prospect Development team, you’ll find potential donors through data analysis.
Ensuring Data Accuracy: You will make sure the data we have is accurate and can be used for analysis.
Protecting Patient Data: You'll make sure we follow privacy rules (HIPAA) when dealing with patient data.
Design Reports: You'll work with our Data & Reporting team and BI consultants to design reports for different teams to help them in their work.
Cross collaboration: You’ll cross train with our Data & Reporting team to assist with other data lists as needed.
Building Data Structures: You'll develop ways to organize data so it's easier to work with.
Answering Questions: You'll help people with their questions about the data systems.
Ensuring Data Standards: You'll make sure that everyone understands how to use data correctly and follow the same rules for data.
YOU MUST HAVE…
Bachelor's degree or equivalent non-profit experience
Experience in a data-related role
An understanding of the concepts of fundraising
3+ years of experience working in Raiser’s Edge or other donor or constituent databases
Proficiency with Power BI (preferred), Tableau, or other data visualization or business intelligence software
Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and advanced skills in Excel
IT’S AN ADDED PLUS IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH
Grateful Patient fundraising
Prospect research, prospect management, or fundraising analytics at a non-profit, preferably at a healthcare organization or an institution of higher education.
Experience with wealth screening and artificial intelligence/analytics tools, particularly with DonorSearch, iWave, Windfall, WealthX, or Blackbaud.
Experience working with data models or scores as tools to prioritize a few from the many.
