Who We Are Seeking: A motivated professional and an organizational wizard to support the Executive Director with implementing the administrative responsibilities of the Tribal Government.


Additional Responsibilities: You will create and coordinate various special projects for the Executive Director and/or Traditional Council, including event and meeting planning, grants development and reporting, and support strategic planning initiatives.


Qualifications, Education & Experience: 

  1. 3 + years of administrative experience including working on complex tasks, special projects and supporting one or more managers. 
  2. Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and leadership skills; including the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds; establish and maintain cooperative relationships.
  3. Excellent time management, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  4. Superb verbal and technical written communication skills.
  5. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn and embrace new or updated software and the ability to accurately type 50 + WPM.


Certificates and Licenses Required: A valid Alaska Driver’s license is required for this position and the ability to be insured on CVTC’s vehicle insurance policy.


Background Check: This position requires you to complete and pass a pre-employment state and federal background check as a condition of employment.
