ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT II, MARKETING PROGRAMS AND GIVING INITIATIVES, Alumni Association, will provide complex and diverse support for staff managing MIT Annual Giving’s marketing campaigns and programs, including direct mail, email, and the MIT 24-Hour Challenge and for Marketing and Giving Initiatives’ fundraising efforts from proofing and production to data analysis; manage the Marketing & Giving Initiatives’ email queue via Freshdesk; and execute Class Giving’s regular reports.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED: high school diploma or equivalent; minimum of 3 years of administrative, office, or related experience; robust customer service experience; expansive knowledge of office procedures; ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative environment; detail-oriented, analytical, organized, creative and able to handle diversified tasks concurrently; excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills, including a strong attention to grammar, spelling, and accuracy; possess initiative and discretion with confidential information; experience with Microsoft Office Suite; ability to work occasional evenings or weekends with notice. PREFFERED: bachelor’s degree; experience with customer service communication tools (e.g. Freshdesk), email platforms (e.g. Acoustic), data and tools (e.g. Excel or Tableau) and electronic calendars.
