NAYA Family Center seeks an experienced development leader to be our first Chief Advancement Officer. NAYA is one of Portland, Oregon’s oldest and most respected nonprofits and is a model for urban Native-serving organizations across the country.
This is a robust leadership position with an exciting portfolio of responsibilities. The Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) is a member of the executive leadership team, reporting to the CEO and leading a high functioning team of development and communications professionals.
NAYA has a large and involved community and a history of successful event-based fundraising. From this strong foundation, the Chief Advancement Officer will grow our corporate and individual giving, increase major gifts and monthly giving, and establish a legacy program. The CAO will have the appropriate resources needed to build a thriving development operation.

This is a hybrid role, working up to 2 days/week from home after onboarding is complete.
Starting salary is commensurate with experience.
