- The position is within a philanthropic or nonprofit organization
- The position itself is philanthropic in nature and/or focuses on roles essential to or valued by the philanthropic sector i.e. fundraising, grantmaking, gift processing or development, donor relations, nonprofit management and/or administration, social justice, equity, conservation, etc.

Job Details
Vegas PBS is seeking a strategic and mission-driven fundraising leader to serve as Director II of Major Gifts Development. Reporting to the President and General Manager, this position oversees the station’s Major Gifts, Foundation Donations, and Planned Giving programs. The Director will develop and execute customized donor strategies to support the full scope of Vegas PBS initiatives, including educational services, local content, community outreach, capital needs, and general operations. The role also serves as the primary liaison to Southern Nevada Public Television’s Planned Giving Council.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or a related field; or current CCSD professional-technical employee.
- Five (5) years of experience leading development teams and managing the solicitation of foundation and planned gifts.
- Five (5) years of supervisory experience overseeing people, budgets, and donor databases.
- Demonstrated ability to develop high-impact, data-informed proposals and build relationships with key philanthropic decision-makers.
- Familiarity with nonprofit software, donor databases, and fundraising tools.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification required within one year of hire.
