Position Overview:

SuBeHuDe is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic International Fundraising & Development Officer Intern to support our fundraising and resource mobilisation efforts. This remote internship provides a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in international fundraising, donor engagement, and nonprofit development.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Research and identify potential international donors, grants, and funding opportunities.
  2. Assist in drafting compelling fundraising proposals, grant applications, and donor communications.
  3. Support the development and implementation of fundraising campaigns and donor engagement strategies.
  4. Maintain accurate donor databases and track funding progress.
  5. Collaborate with the team to develop marketing materials and reports for fundraising purposes.
  6. Monitor and evaluate fundraising activities and provide recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  1. Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in International Development, Nonprofit Management, Communications, or related fields.
  2. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  3. Interest in fundraising, development, and nonprofit work.
  4. Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  5. Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  6. Prior experience with fundraising or nonprofit organisations is a plus.
