About the role: This position supports the management of the Corporate Engagement Workgroup (CEW) and Foundation Engagement Workgroup (FEW) portfolios. The CEW and FEW programs form partnerships that strategically align unique business and foundation needs with university expertise and areas of excellence. This position will ensure that CEW/FEW portfolio strategies are in place and will work closely with the Prospect Development team on advancing CEW/FEW action items. This position is also responsible for coordinating with colleges/units/campuses and the marketing communications team to manage the stewardship of the CEW and FEW portfolios. This will include creating and updating stewardship strategies for companies, managing the stewardship digital reporting process, executing stewardship events, and developing an online tracker to ensure pledge payments and partner activations are on track. The Manager will also work with CFR Development Officers on submitting all grant renewal materials. What you’ll do: Program Administration – Support the Management of the CEW and FEW Portfolios. (60%)
  • Ensure CEW/FEW portfolio organizational strategies are in place and updated.
  • Work with the Director of CFR to manage the CEW Leadership council.
  • Prepare CEW leadership council materials.
  • Coordinate with PD on meeting action items.
  • Portfolio activation, tracking, and annual reporting.
  • Manage action items from collaboration with OVPR on FEW prospects.
Manage stewardship of CEW and FEW organizations in multi-year commitments. (25%)
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Communications (MarComm) on stewardship materials needed. Partner with MarCom on a social media strategy to recognize corporate and foundation partners.
  • Coordinate with Finance to develop and manage an online tracker for gifts under management to ensure pledge payments are on time.
  • Work with CFR Development Officers to develop and execute stewardship strategies for organizations
  • Work with CFR Development Officers, UMF events, and company representative to execute engagement opportunities for scholarship recipients and the company funding the scholarship
  • Maintains donor management database (DMS) for project tracking and management

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 four years of experience.
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities.
  • Experience using a donor or customer database and demonstrated database management skills.
  • Ability to determine informational needs, to collect and analyze information, and to devise and prepare impact reports and/or presentations.
