Reporting to the company’s President, this position is outward and inward facing—collaborating with Indigenous Impact Co.’s clients and employees.  Education and Experience  We seek someone whose combination of education and experience demonstrates their work as a collaborator, a facilitator, a cultivator of talent, and a leader learner. The Marketing & Communications Manager possesses:  Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field; Master’s degree preferred  Four years’ post college experience in managerial, Public Relations, or marketing positions  Experience interacting with high-level administrators, corporate executives, professionals, clients, and Native communities  Previous experience developing and implementing marketing and communication strategies, tools, products, and content  Previous experience working on collective, multiple-stakeholder projects Previous experience working on behalf of Native clients and communities Prior experience in philanthropy and community development is a plus  Fundamental Skills & Values  Our team welcomes applicants who are mission driven, humble, and committed to facilitating their own and others’ contributions and growth. Such skills include:  Computer program literacy (Google services, Microsoft suite of services, etc.) Communication tools literacy (Squarespace, Graphic programs, publishing programs, photo editing, database management, etc.)  Project management software (Asana)  Social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tik Tok, etc.)  Impact  In centering on Indigenous Impact Co.’s values of humility, compassion, integrity, and courage, the Marketing & Communications Manager effectively serves our clients, partners, and team and leads and manages three core areas of responsibility.  1. Marketing & Communication Strategy:
  • Curate marketing and communications strategy fitted to Indigenous Impact Co.’s holistic approach to magnifying impact, including that which is client facing 
  • Oversee development and implementation of marketing and communications strategies, products, and content, including that which is client facing 
2. Project Management & Teamwork:
  • Collaborate, guide, mentor, and support project staff 
  • Oversee quality control and assess impact of Indigenous Impact Co.’s internal and external communications and marketing, including that which is client facing 
  • Operate in a fast-paced environment while directing and implementing multiple projects simultaneously
3. Communication and Relationship Management:
  • Facilitate internal and external communication, including those that are client facing 
  • Maintain internal and external relationships, including those that are client facing 
  • Identify and contract outside vendors as needed
