About This Grant

 Through collaborative fundraising efforts, the Na’ah Illahee Fund (NIF) and Potlatch Fund (PF) are pleased to announce the Power of Ceremony & Healing Grant opportunity. We seek to fund Indigenous, Alaska Native, and First Nations individuals who dedicate their time to leading ceremonies, healing and carrying our traditions forward in their communities.

This grant supports those who lift up our people through ceremony & healing — such as Smokehouse Lead Workers/Caretakers, Longhouse Lead Speakers/Caretakers, Bundle Keepers, Song Carriers, Sundance Leaders, Sacred Tobacco Ceremony Leaders, and those who make ceremonial gear such as drums, rattles, regalia, caskets, and other traditional items for ceremony purposes — provided these items are not sold commercially.
