DonorsChoose is hiring a Major Gifts Officer to help drive revenue growth through the strategic management of a portfolio of major giving donors and prospects at the five- and six-figure giving level. As a dynamic and entrepreneurial front-line fundraiser, the Officer will serve as the primary relationship manager throughout the donor life cycle to qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors to renew and increase gifts using donor-centric fundraising practices. This person will work closely with the VP, Major Gifts to build results-oriented strategies in support of their portfolio. The hiring salary range for this role is $73,000-$90,000.

In this role, you’ll have the option to work a flexible hybrid schedule in the NYC office. We are also open to candidates based in the Washington, D.C. metro area. Candidates should expect to travel to NYC on an as-needed basis. As part of the essential function of this role, the Major Gifts Officer can expect in-person meetings as needed and regular travel to New York City if not already based there. All work-related travel expenses will be covered by DonorsChoose.
