Salesberry Group is an operations firm serving organizations working in the progressive political arena. Our mission is to actively support members of the progressive movement in creating a more just and equitable existence for all.
We are hiring a Senior Associate, People Operations who can design and execute people programs for our clients as well as assist in the development and alignment of internal systems and processes to ensure we are effectively meeting the needs of our clients.

Applicant Evaluation Criteria
- Level of experience in people operations functions (e.g., hiring, recruitment, strategic staffing, employee engagement, performance and development, culture, retention, etc.) - at least 5 years experience in People Operations is preferred
- Level of operational experience that extends beyond people operations and HR, including knowledge of financial, compliance, legal, and other operational functions, procedures and systems that ensure ongoing operational health
- Ability to take initiative to design and implement innovative people operations services, solutions, and strategies
- Desire to learn and grow within current and new skills and abilities
- Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and people operations best practices
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships internally and with clients
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in using HRIS (HR Information System), ATS (Applicant Tracking System), and other HR-related software (e.g., Gusto, Lattice)
- A desire to support progressive organizations and their missions – including women’s rights, abortion rights, LGBTQ+ rights, climate action, voter protection, immigration reform, equal access to healthcare, and others
Responsibilities of Senior Associate, People Operations
- Create and implement people operations consulting services tailored to the specific needs of clients, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, policy development, and HR technology implementation
- Create and implement operations consulting services for clients
- Work with other operational experts to design and implement internal systems and processes to support the needs of our clients
- Develop standardized processes, methodologies, and best practices for delivering People Operations consulting services
- Work closely with clients to understand their unique HR and operational needs and implement solutions that fit their organizational culture and goals
- Implement and track operations tasks for clients, ensuring timely and effective delivery of services
- Develop and implement structural processes to ensure operational services effectively meet the needs of clients
- Maintain people operations system, tools, and databases and generate reports as needed for clients
- Prepare and distribute communications for clients
- Other various duties as assigned
Working at Salesberry Group
- All of our positions are remote and can work from anywhere in the continental US
- Position will be full-time and salaries will be set between $70,000 - $95,000 annually - Applicant experience and seniority of position will be among factors in determining final compensation
- Team members receive 3 weeks of PTO as well as other PTO policies such as parental leave, bereavement, voting, and blood donation
- Salesberry Group fully covers Medical, Dental, and Vision policies for employees, and employees can add dependents at their own cost
- Traditional and Roth 401K options are available for employees to make retirement contributions, but no employer contribution at this time
