Native Americans in Philanthropy is dedicated to increasing and nurturing Indigenous representation in the philanthropic sector. With that in mind, the opportunities on our Job Board fit one of the following criteria:    

  1. The position is within a philanthropic or nonprofit organization 
  2. The position itself is philanthropic in nature and/or focuses on roles essential to or valued by the philanthropic sector i.e. fundraising, grantmaking, gift processing or development, donor relations, nonprofit management and/or administration, social justice, equity, conservation, etc.

The Nature Conservancy is hiring a Director of Global Indigenous Policy & Partnerships to lead the organization’s global policy engagement in support of Indigenous Peoples and local communities.

 

This person will help shape TNC’s positions in international forums (like the CBD and UNFCCC), build and strengthen partnerships with Indigenous-led organizations, and guide internal alignment to support Indigenous rights, self-determination, and leadership in conservation.

This is a fixed-term, full-time position open to candidates in any country where TNC is registered to operate. We strongly encourage Indigenous candidates and those from traditional communities to apply.
