Reporting to the Sr. Advancement Director, the Grant Writer will be a key member of the Advancement team, responsible for researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals and reports in support of IllumiNative's mission. This role will collaborate closely with the Advancement team and IllumiNative’s Program departments to develop compelling narratives and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and funders.

1. Write high-quality grant proposals, applications, and reports under the direction and in partnership with the Sr. Advancement Director.
2. Collaborate with the CEO and President’s Office, Advancement Director, and other departments to create powerful program narratives that can be adapted to varying audiences.
3. Manage the grant submission process and maintain accurate records of submissions and outcomes.
4. Contribute to fundraising strategies in alignment with IllumiNative’s goals.
5. Maintain an organized database of all grant submissions, including dates, outcomes and narrative feedback.
6. Collaborate with IllumiNative departments to gather input for projects.
7. Participate in cross-functional teams or special projects as assigned.
