Portfolio & Finance Specialist — Taala Fund

Full-time • $62,000/year • Native CDFI serving Quinault Indian Nation

Taala Fund is seeking a detail‑oriented Portfolio & Finance Specialist to support our lending operations and financial reporting. This role keeps our loan portfolio accurate, compliant, and mission‑driven as we serve Native entrepreneurs and community members.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Maintain loan data, process payments/disbursements, and track delinquencies
  2. Prepare monthly portfolio and financial reports
  3. Reconcile transactions between DownHome and QuickBooks
  4. Support bookkeeping, payroll processes, and audit documentation
  5. Assist borrowers with account questions and provide excellent customer service
  6. Help ensure data integrity and compliance with CDFI standards

What You Bring:

  1. Associate degree required; Bachelor’s preferred
  2. Experience in finance, bookkeeping, lending, or data management
  3. Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail
  4. Customer‑service mindset and confidentiality

Bonus Skills:

  1. Experience with CDFIs, tribal organizations, banking, or accounting/loan systems
  2. Understanding of Native communities and community‑based lending
