ADMINISTRATOR

Location: Onsite at the Yuchi Language Project, 200 E 171st St S, Glenpool, OK 74033

Status: Full Time Position, 40 hours per week, onboarding in Aug/Sep 2026

Payrate: commensurate with qualifications and experience level

Benefits: 6% health and 6% retirement; paid holidays and sick leave

About Yuchi Language Project

We are a community-led nonprofit working to revitalize the Yuchi language and way of life, established in 1994. Located on 172 acres, our program is creating a sustainable language community where the fullness of the Yuchi worldview can thrive for future generations.  In a holistic approach, we are revitalizing the Yuchi language and way of life through shtahaê Ô’wAdAnA Yuchi Immersion School, food sovereignty programs, land and animal stewardship, youth leadership training, and community language programs.  

The Role:

This is the operational center of the Yuchi Language Project. You keep the organization coordinated, compliant, and moving, so leadership, staff, and families can stay focused on the mission. You own the daily rhythm of operations: grant management and reporting, financial processing, staff coordination, communications, and the systems that hold everything together. When something needs to be tracked, resolved, or tightened, it runs through you. You are fully present, onsite, and steady, and the organization runs better because you are in the seat.

What You’ll Do:

*Federal grant management, reporting and financial drawdowns

*Provide administrative support to executive and accounting staff

*Expense coding, payroll processing, and bill payments

*Daily onsite coordination of staff and program operations  

*Yuchi Immersion School administration and Global Village School partnership

*Policy and systems development for efficiency and clarity

*Provide training and resources to staff and community  

*Organize events, curriculum, and student recruitment

*Communications and website management

*Assist in staff and consultant management and problem solving

*Funder relationship building, partnership cultivation, and data tracking

*Develop and manage the individual giving database and Land Back campaign

Qualification Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree or higher education

-4+ years of experience as an administrator or in a related position  

-Expertise in administrative skills and computer programs

-Genuine desire to support the Yuchi language and sustainable ecological values

-Prior experience working in an Indigenous or community-based organization

-Must pass background check

-Hiring preference for Indigenous / Native American candidates
