Native Americans in Philanthropy is dedicated to increasing and nurturing Indigenous representation in the philanthropic sector. With that in mind, the opportunities on our Job Board fit one of the following criteria:    

  1. The position is within a philanthropic or nonprofit organization 
  2. The position itself is philanthropic in nature and/or focuses on roles essential to or valued by the philanthropic sector i.e. fundraising, grantmaking, gift processing or development, donor relations, nonprofit management and/or administration, social justice, equity, conservation, etc.

Training Coordinator - Remote

Job Details

The Training Coordinator develops, plans, and operationalizes capacity building initiatives for Indigenous Peoples, corporations, investors, and financial institutions to support the mission of First Peoples Worldwide. The Coordinator will develop content for and run First Peoples’ SALT (Shareholder Advocacy Leadership Training) workshops, and partner with other staff to identify additional opportunities to engage in capacity building activities with Indigenous Peoples, corporations, investors, and financial institutions. The Coordinator will collaborate with First Peoples staff to gather information, learn about research and tools, and ensure training activities accurately reflect the research and message developed within First Peoples Worldwide. The Coordinator will also gather and track feedback from training participants to ensure the materials meet the module objectives, respond to participant needs, and reflect market trends and Indigenous priorities.    This is a remote position with semi-regular travel as needed.
